As far as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by beauty; the idea of being able to tell a visual story and creation conceptualisation every time I work was my idea of a dream, however combining everything I love in a career… was this going to be possible? But then I found Makeup Artistry and decided to train professionally with Lubna Rafiq in 2008 to take my passion to the next level.

And so I found a place of endless opportunities, a space where my creativity can thrive. I gain inspiration through my senses from everything that surrounds me. I believe that my creations and growth as an artist arise from my power of materialising feelings into something valuable to others. The ability to receive and transfer such emotions through my work brings me immeasurable satisfaction!

I started my career in hair and makeup working at a professional modelling agency for over 3 years. Here I focused on creating sleek fashion looks for magazines and marketing campaigns. It was during this time I built the foundation of my practical experience and knowledge.

I then decided to take the leap into freelance makeup artistry - this gave me the opportunity to really develop, create and innovate my own unique style, which opened my eyes to the world of bridal hair & makeup.

Bridal hair & makeup isn’t just about looking ‘good’ on the day, it’s about looking ‘the best you have ever looked’, and I strive for this with every bride I work with. Gone are the days of a robotic makeup experience. I pride myself on a very personal approach which works on building a relationship so the client and artist harmonise together to create the ‘Perfect Day’

After 10+ years working with a wide number of clients from brides to corporate events I decided that it was time to share some of the knowledge I have built and inspire others into creating something fresh and unique for themselves. I am now offering private classes to help all of you lovely ladies out there!
